Saw Palmetto
Most beneficial in benign enlargement of the prostate, also called benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), which so many men experience as they get older. (This is not the same as prostate cancer.) Saw Palmetto contains active principles that inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, the enzyme that converts testosterone to di-hydro-testosterone and leads to the changes.
Studies suggest as many as 90% of men with BPH have improved symptoms within 6 weeks of taking Saw Palmetto. It has an anti-inflammatory action. Some studies suggest it may help to kill cancer cells in prostate cancer. Anecdotally, it may be beneficial in male-pattern baldness due to its hormonal action. Taking Saw Palmetto will not interfere with PSA tests.

Zinc
An essential mineral for male reproductive function, including male hormones and sperm health. Zinc is often depleted in vegetables due to modern farming methods. Zinc is also an antioxidant and helps protect cells and blood vessels. Copper is included in zinc supplements because zinc alone may lower your copper levels.

Rhodiola

Prostanol
This beneficial combo contains 428mg pumpkin oil. This oil is rich in fatty acids, which help bladder emptying, and plant sterols, which balance immune function and reduce inflammation. 60mg beta-sitosterol backs up the anti-inflammatory effect. Add 100mg nettle, a herb traditionally used for prostate health, and 38mg magnesium which helps relax blood vessels. Prostanol includes 4mg extra zinc, in addition to the zinc naturally occurring in pumpkin oil, for male hormones and sperm health. It also includes small amounts of java tea, Echinacea, orotic acid, saw palmetto and vitamin E.

Red Foods
Made with organic tomato, carrot, beetroot and cayenne pepper.
This blend of plants is rich in carotenoids, a group of anti-oxidant compounds with immune-balancing and cancer fighting properties. In particular, LYCOPENE is beneficial for the prostate, and prevents and repairs damaged cells, reducing cell proliferation (a characteristic of cancer cells). It also protects the heart and arteries from damage by oxidised LDL cholesterol.

Plant Sterols
These products contain beta-sitosterol and other related substances. As many of us don’t eat enough fruits and vegetables to provide these sterols, a supplement is immensely useful for a wide range of conditions, including enlarged prostate (BPH). There is research evidence to support their effectiveness in reducing symptoms of BPH.
Sterols can help block the absorption of dietary cholesterol. They are also useful in a wide range of conditions including heart health, immune system problems, allergies, and infections including viral. They also act as anti-inflammatories.
