Wellness


Wellness is a term that has emerged over the last 15 years and means many things to many different people and organisations. Our definition of wellness is being able to do what we want to and need to on a daily basis without undue pain or discomfort. To do so we require an adequate supply of energy, strength and co-ordination.

These simple needs depend on the correct functioning of :

  • immune system
  • endocrine/hormonal system – including the reproductive system
  • breathing or respiratory system
  • defence system – often poorly understood
  • musculo/skeletal system – one with out the other would not be good
  • eyesight/hearing
  • nervous system including the brain
  • cardio vascular system
  • digestive system
  • lymphatic/urinary system

To understand each of the above areas would take years. Doctors take 7 years just getting started and they have to keep learning. So we have put here some outlines of how each works so that you might be better equipped to make the decisions you need to.

Please note that we don’t set out to be doctors but, as you’ll see as you explore, we have a unique approach to wellness that provides exceptional results for everyone we work with.
